Greens fan the flame of protest rally hatred in Melbourne

The Greens are not who they used to be. They stopped caring about the environment years ago. These days, they focus on fanning the flames of anti-Israel hatred, aggression and violence at rallies across Australia.

Take the violent protests at the Land Forces Expo 2024 in Melbourne last week.

It’s a military hardware expo. Why were the Greens, the activists and the elites all upset about it?

Because Israeli military suppliers were there.

So they went and protested. Not only did they protest, they rioted. They injured police. They threw rocks, acid and urine at officers and expo guests.

Federal Greens candidate for Wills Samantha Ratnam called the event “an exhibition of life-destroying machines and technology”.

The Greens are right behind the anarchist Disrupt Land Forces movement who called the Land Forces Expo a “one stop genocide shop” and coordinated the mass protests which took place in Melbourne

The movement’s website openly called for the creation of “a week-long festival of resistance bringing diverse actionists and tactics into a joint struggle against the arms trade.”

The ABC reported that Victoria Police were forced to “maintain their presence outside the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre after hundreds of officers clashed with anti-war protesters”.

Peacefully protesting is a fundamental democratic right.

But mainstream Australians watched on in horror as chaos, violence and abuse erupted outside the Expo.

Ironically, those protesting against the arms trade lit fires in the middle of the street and attacked police officers from all angles.

There are countless examples of extreme behaviour exhibited by the protesters. Nine News reported that “a woman has been charged after concreting herself to a car and blocking peak-hour traffic on the third and final day of protests.”

The Greens have zero respect for the rule of law or upholding the principles of a fair, civil society.

They turn a blind eye as long as it supports their distorted left-wing narrative.

Greens Senator David Shoebridge was present at the protest, offering direct support and reassurance to the angry mob.

The Australian reported: “Senator Shoebridge on Friday flew to Melbourne, attacking the Victoria Police operation, despite dozens of police and their horses being hit with acid substances, manure, bottles and canned food.”

In a formal statement on their website, the Greens doubled down on their support for overt acts of violence by the protesters, blaming the police instead: “Police officers are obliged to de-escalate all situations that might result in violence and exhaust all non-violent means, including by giving prior warning, before resorting to the use of force.”

Just as the Greens refuse to denounce Hamas, they also refuse to call out the violence of these protesters which caused the Victorian Police to rightly defend themselves.

What else could you expect from the Greens, after they took the side of Hamas after they invaded Israel and massacred 1200 men, women and children (including babies) on October 7, 2023.
