It's a wrap!

From Matthew Sheahan and all of us at ADVANCE HQ, thank you for following along.
It's been a massive night for ADVANCE supporters! We've cleaned out at least three Greens and there's a possibility we could take out three more. We've certainly stopped them in their tracks.
We look forward to getting in touch with you soon.
Cheers,

GREENS SHOCKER: The current state of play
Loading...
The Greens have had a shocker of an election.
And that’s thanks to hundreds of thousands of ADVANCE supporters who have backed the campaign to tell Aussies that the Greens are not who they used to be.
You are the real winners tonight.
The Greens used to be harmless tree-huggers, but now they are a far-left extremist party. They have grown from one MP elected in the early 1980s, to almost 50 in Parliaments across Australia.
But you have stopped their march through our political institutions in its tracks.
From the ADVANCE team, thank you for supporting this campaign.
This is where we stand.
The ABC is predicting that the Greens will win zero seats. We think there is still a possibility they may pick up one or two.
This is a massive win for ADVANCE supporters.
Max Chandler-Mather (Griffith), Sonya Semmens (Macnamara) and Stephen Bates (Brisbane) have all lost their seats.
The electorate of Ryan is too close to call. Labor is currently coming third, which means the Greens could win on Labor preferences. There are currently 1500 votes between Labor and the Greens.
If Labor closes the 1500 vote gap and push the Greens into third place, they will lose the seat. But it’s possible the Greens might win Ryan on Labor preferences.
There has been a BIG swing against Adam Bandt in Melbourne – of more than 5%. This seat will not be called tonight, and will come down to close preferences. That the leader of the Greensis in a fight for his seat is a testament to the success of the Greens Truth campaign.
Unfortunately, Greens candidate Samantha Ratnam is doing well in Wills, and worryingly, the Socialist Alliance has won 8% of the vote. This will give the Greens a big boost on the distribution of preferences. It will be very close and will not be called tonight.

Losers: Greens blitzed in Macnamara
Loading...
There are no tears tonight from ADVANCE supporters over the devastating loss of Greens candidate Sonya Semmens.
We’re calling a Greens loss in her seat of Macnamara. They are yet to secure a seat.
Macnamara has been a traditionally strong Labor seat, but it was one of the seats where the Greens pushed hard.
But ADVANCE's strong campaign against the Greens was too overwhelming.
So far, Semmens has suffered a 3.2% swing away from her. The strong performance from Labor means the seat is out of reach for the ADVANCE critic. And we are not sorry.

ABC: 'No Greens seat guaranteed'

The ABC's election analysts have revised their projections about the Greens and now say that "no Greens seat is guaranteed".
Before ADVANCE's campaign against the Greens kicked off, the party was aiming to win as many as 10 seats.

Max loses: The future of the Greens now unemployed

Max Chandler-Mather is gone!
With about 30% now counted, we’re calling a Greens loss in his seat of Griffith. Max's loss suggests the decades-long growth run that the Greens have enjoyed is coming to an end.
Max Chandler-Mather will lose his seat with an almost 3% primary vote swing against him, on the back of Liberal preferences that will flow to Labor.
ADVANCE supporters will be taking pride in knowing they have helped deliver this fantastic result.
We were able to deliver a truly powerful campaign using billboards, digital television, social media, trucks and highly organised ground game thanks to you.
Congratulations! The Greens’ chances of taking government by 2030, like Max planned, are now over.

Brisbane GAWWNNN!
Loading...
ADVANCE is calling a Greens loss for the seat of Brisbane. Stephen Bates is coming third after Labor and the Liberals with more than a quarter of the votes counted.
The poor performance of the Greens in this seat brings to an end their short reign.
Bates was known for starting an account on the pornography site OnlyFans. He has also been at the forefront of promoting divisive Greens policies such as legalising all drugs, increasing immigration during the housing crisis and hitting Australians with an inheritance tax.
ADVANCE is proud to have helped knock Stephen Bates from his seat.

First results in from Melbourne
Loading...
Just 3830 votes counted in Greens leader Adam Bandt's seat of Melbourne but there has been a 7% swing against him on primary votes.
It's too early to see where this seat will land, but this is not good news for Bandt who would've been hoping for strong early returns. This is not the news he would've wanted.

Max struggling in Griffith
Loading...
The man who was bragging that the Greens would win federal government by 2030 is struggling to hold his seat.
With 7.7% of the vote in Griffith counted, Max Chandler-Mather is on the receiving end of a 17.4 per cent swing against him, according to his friends at the ABC.
Again, early days. But this not good news for Max. He is considered a future leader of the Greens, however he struggled to explain how he would fix the housing crisis while advocating for an increase in migration.
Here he is, holding ADVANCE's material we put out in his seat.

What's going on in Victoria?

Not sure what is happening in the seat of Macnamara or Melbourne. It's been almost 90 minutes since polls closed and not a single booth has been reported yet.
Aussies across the country are hoping Adam Bandt gets flogged. Time will tell.
