There is a Labor/Greens/Teal ‘net zero’ juggernaut coming for hard working Australians.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the great Australian economy killer: the Net Zero Economic Authority (NZEA). 

This will become a nightmarish reality, thanks to federal legislation that “makes it mandatory for companies to disclose climate risks”, as reported by The Australian.

It’s the next step for the ideological pact between the left-wing elites who think they run the show and who are completely out of touch with mainstream Australia: Labor, the Greens and the Teals. 

This is what happens when the activists and elites team up against everyday Australians to stick the knife into families already struggling with an out-of-control cost-of-living.

It provides an unwanted distraction for Australian businesses and farmers that have already run out of puff, thanks to the woke agenda of the Albanese Government. 

Instead of caring about the practical, financial issues keeping working families up at night, Albo and his Greens/Teal mates have gone out of their way to create even more red tape to stifle business productivity and profitability going forward.   

This is more proof that the Greens are an existential threat to the Australian way of life.

They have nothing to do with saving trees and the environment.

They will hijack our nation’s democracy and destroy our economy.

There’s no doubt the introduction of the NZEA will hurt the Australian economy across many industries, and add to the plight of Australian farmers. 

The Australian highlights our concerns, stating that “farmers, who supply big supermarkets and other large companies that will have to make climate disclosures under the program, have warned their exports will consequently become less competitive”.

The NZEA is one of Labor’s key climate priorities.

It will fundamentally shift the focus of Australian business leaders, investors and entrepreneurs from the innovation and productivity required to compete on the global stage, to over-the-top, mandatory environmental reporting. 

The NZEA could not come at a worse time for the Australian economy. 

Instead of making it easier for people to get on top of their bills and reduce their cost-of-living pressures, this disconnected government is pandering to the Greens and the Teals, focusing on the unproven climate change fantasy which consumes their dreams and thoughts. 

This takes the cult of climate change extremism to another level, placing unproven environmental impacts ahead of farmers and families. 

In case Albanese was not aware, most Australians are doing it tough right now financially and this includes being able to make minimum mortgage repayments or pay their rent. 

As the Australian Financial Review reports:

Mortgage arrears rates charged higher at the fastest rate in nearly two years in January, as lenders warn that stubbornly high inflation will keep pressure on households, and on the Reserve Bank of Australia to hold rates for longer.

Instead, Labor, the Greens and the Teals are obsessed with building wind turbines and solar panel projects the size of European countries that will destroy our natural habitat and environment and tear apart regional communities.

They focus on sketchy renewables and bringing to life a ‘net zero’ bureaucracy, rather than making it easier for Australians to pay their bills. 

Judge a leader on their actions, not words. How will these be remotely beneficial for Australian businesses and our economy?
