Don’t forget the Teals are another shade of Green

If current polling is right about the next federal election, Australians will be faced with the unwanted quagmire of a hung parliament.

In a recent address to Australian mining and resource leaders, Liberal Leader Peter Dutton warned that “Labor returned in a minority government will see the Teals party and/or the Greens party hold the balance of power.”

Dutton gives us a timely reminder of how Labor’s power sharing deal with the Teals and the Greens would destroy the mining and resources sector:

Almost all the Teals have demanded that there be no new gas projects. The Greens have proposed a $500bn so-called Robin Hood tax that not only targets miners but would de-industrialise our economy as we know it.

This is just one example of how the lives of everyday working Australians will be impacted by this trifecta of inner-city elites and activists taking the reins of power in Canberra.

Make no mistake. The Teals disguise who they are and the Greens are not who they used to be.

The Greens stopped caring about the environment years ago. They are obsessed with an unproven climate change religion, far removed from the issues impacting Australian families. The Teals are with them on this evangelical mission, every step of the way.

Thumbing their collective noses at the Australian economy, Zali Steggall has led Teal MPs in calling for a 2035 climate emissions cut target of 75 percent to be set by February next year.

The Teals are, of course, just another shade of Green.

Parliamentary research obtained by The Australian on their voting patterns unequivocally proves this to be the case:

“The seven Teal MPs voted with the Greens between 73 and 81 percent of the time over 27 months to August this year.”

The statistics don’t lie. Opposition Manager of Small Business, Paul Fletcher provides a clear warning to anyone in doubt about where the Teals stand:

Many Australians in electorates held by a Teal MP would be quite surprised to know that their representative has aligned herself so firmly with the radical, extremist Greens political party – who of course are well to the left of even the current Labor government.

This bizarre disconnect from reality is happening while the Australian economy is struggling.

Many hardworking families are struggling to make ends meet, thanks to Labor’s crippling economic policies and bad decisions.

Meanwhile, Labor Treasurer Jim Chalmers is weirdly blaming the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) for continuously high interest rates.

Apparently, it’s the RBA’s fault. Not the chaotic, economic cluelessness and left-wing agenda of the Labor federal government which is causing this.

The Teals and the Greens are right behind them, supporting Labor every step of the way to financial ruin. Their parliamentary voting patterns show this to be the case.

If you were in any doubt about the financial pressures facing mainstream Australia currently, look no further.

The Australian recently reported “the Australian Financial Security Authority has warned that personal insolvencies will surge this financial year as households dig into their savings to pay debts amid an expected increase in the unemployment rate as the economy grinds to a halt”.

This scenario is daunting for many everyday Australians and has mental health impacts as well.

However, the Greens and the Teals simply do not care if you can pay the bills and support your family. They are not interested. Power is what matters to them most and they have an insatiable appetite to get it.
