Rogue Labor MP launches divisive new political party
Labor is on a path to self-destruction. They are dividing our country.
The cost of living crisis continues to bite hard for Australian working families.
Fixing our struggling economy should be at the top of Labor’s priority list.
Instead, Labor is desperately trying to avoid a complete wipeout at the next federal election.
The war in Gaza is tearing Labor apart because they think they need strong support from the Australian Muslim community to stay in power.
Former Labor Leader Bill Shorten told The Nightly on Monday: “There are some people on the Left who just hate Israel”.
Shorten believes that Labor should respect the rule of international law: “It means that terrorist organisations don’t have a right to attack other countries, full-stop.”
Meanwhile, pro-Palestine protests continue to grow in size, ferocity and extremism every week.
Look no further than the Lakemba mosque in Southwestern Sydney last week.
According to The Australian:
A sheikh who celebrated the October 7 massacre has told hundreds of people rallying outside the Lakemba mosque one year on that ‘victory was coming soon’ as concerns mount among Labor operatives that the ALP’s election chances are in serious peril over anger at the plight of Palestinians.
Sydney Morning Herald’s Resolve Political Monitor proved that Australians strongly reject the use of public protests to take sides in the escalating war.
In fact, 59 percent of Australian voters oppose the pro-Palestine marches.
Everyday Australians believe Labor should stay focused on what’s going on in our own country and clean up the mess they have created.
Even though Labor refuses to condemn the barbaric, murderous actions of Hamas against innocent Israelis, some Labor politicians believe they don’t go far enough.
Last week, West Australian Labor Senator Fatima Payman launched her own political party after going rogue and abandoning Labor.
Leading up to this, Payman took her anti-Israel stance to the next level.
According to The Nightly:
Senator Payman was suspended from the Labor caucus earlier this year for crossing the floor to support a Greens motion calling for the recognition of Palestine. She has accused Israel of genocide and parted ways with Labor in July, despite winning a prized Senate spot on the Western Australian ticket just two years ago.
Payman named her new political party ‘Australia’s Voice’. She justified this name choice to ABC News:
"Together we will hold our leaders accountable and ensure that your voice, Australia's voice, will never be silenced.”
Payman’s choice of name for her new political party has raised the eyebrows of the Australian Indigenous community. According to ABC News:
Several First Nations leaders involved in the Yes campaign for a First Nations Voice in the recent referendum have privately expressed frustration with the use of the word ‘Voice’ by the party, saying permission was not sought.
As if Labor’s Voice referendum wasn’t divisive enough. Payman has taken this division to another level with her new, extreme anti-Israel political party.
Labor is a rudderless ship. They have divided their own political party and the country as well.
Meanwhile, many hard working Australians juggle multiple jobs and struggle to put food on the table for their children.
We deserve better.
