Labor’s immigration lies
Anyone with a brain knew it.
But in the last few days it’s been confirmed yet again.
You can’t trust Anthony Albanese’s Labor on immigration.
Yes, they’ve kept the system in place that stops the boats. But now they’re expanding legal immigration in underhanded ways that continue to increase pressure on Aussie housing and jobs.
First up, The Australian reports the Government has quietly lowered English test score requirements for visas.
Labor has given no reason, but the report tells us:
For the Test of English as a Foreign Language, administered by US nonprofit Educational Training Service, the mark requirement was dropped from 32 out of 120 down to 26. For the Pearson Test of English, administered by education publishing company Pearson, the mark requirement dropped from 30 out of 90 down to 24.
Technical changes to the English test might not seem like a big deal, but let’s be clear: this is the Labor playbook for their massive increases in immigration.
They make some technical regulation changes to make it a bit easier to get to Australia, hope no one notices, and before long you’re competing for jobs and houses with thousands more people.
Opposition Home Affairs spokesman Andrew Hastie responded to the news saying this would just add to out-of-control migration after the government already added a million migrants in its first two years.
He’s right, and the worst part: a second revelation shows Labor adding more.
Sky News reported the government has lifted the international student cap by 25,000 places for 2026.
That means 25,000 more housing spaces. 25,000 more people on the roads, trains, and buses. 25,000 more people using up education resources.
Sure, most will be fee-paying and will spend money here, but so what?
They had already committed to bringing 270,000 international students in and 25,000 is on top of that.
It’s another quiet announcement to lift incoming immigration, and Aussies don’t get a say.
This has to stop.
No more tweaks and adjustments. Press pause on all of it and get our own house in order.
Future Aussie families are depending on it.
