Mass immigration is happening
The latest figures are staggering.
Australia has taken in a record number of migrants over the past 12 months, blowing past expectations and exposing just how badly the Albanese Government has lost control of the system.
This is a pattern from Labor who keep insisting migration is coming down while the numbers tell a different story.
As reported in news.com.au, the government’s supposed plan is now “in tatters” after migration surged far beyond forecasts:
An analysis from the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA) showed net permanent and long term arrivals hit 57,270 in January of this year alone, the highest number on record, it said.
In the 12-months to January, just shy of half a million people entered the country.
Labor promised Australians that migration numbers were going down. Instead, yet again, they’ve been handed record migration.
Australians have heard this story before. Time and again, Labor has lowballed migration numbers, only for reality to smash through their projections months later.
Treasury gets it wrong. The Department of Immigration gets it wrong. The ABS keeps telling you to not believe your lying eyes about arrival numbers.
And then the Australian people pay the price.
You already know the consequences. Housing is tighter than ever. Rents are surging. Infrastructure is buckling. Yet Canberra keeps opening the floodgates while insisting everything is under control.
It isn’t.
Mass immigration at this scale puts enormous pressure on everyday Australians. The traffic is worse. The hospital wait times are longer. Young families are locked out of housing. The school competition is tougher.
And still, Labor refuses to level with the public about the true scale of intake.
ADVANCE has long warned about exactly this. When governments lose control of borders and numbers, Australians lose control of their future.
Enough is enough. It’s time to pause immigration, restore honesty to the system, and put Australians first again.
