As we warned: The CCP continues to threaten Australia
For years ADVANCE has been warning about the increasing incursions of China into our domestic affairs.
We led the fightback over the Australian Government’s decision to sell the Port of Darwin to a CCP-controlled entity.
During the 2022 election, ADVANCE rolled out a massive advertising truck proclaiming “CCP says vote Labor”.
Then-WA Premier Mark McGowan called ADVANCE and the mainstream Aussies who backed the truth truck “morons” and “idiots”.
Anthony Albanese even responded to some tough questioning on his attitude to China by accusing a journo of being associated with the ADVANCE truck.
From the day ADVANCE was established, it has been warning about the threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party.
And from the Port of Darwin to the live ammunition exercises off the Australian coast, the pattern has been clear that the Chinese Communist Party knows that Australia is extremely vulnerable and they won’t hesitate to flaunt their power.
It’s clear that Anthony Albanese and Labor are not up to the job of putting Aussie interests first.
After all, if Albanese spends a week trying to ingratiate himself with the Chinese regime and the end result is they don’t hesitate to block BHP imports at the first hint of trouble, you know just how much influence he has.
The best he could offer to the media was: “Sometimes these things will occur.”
Meanwhile, Labor continues to sit idly by as the CCP finds another vulnerability to exploit.
This time, it’s cars.
Given Australia can’t build cars ourselves anymore, we’ve taken to bringing a lot of them from China and, as The Australian reported this weekend, we’re not just importing cars, we’re importing security threats.
According to The Australian, cyber security experts are warning:
“Millions of Chinese-made internet-connected devices, including electric vehicles, effectively were ticking time bombs that could be remotely disabled or, spectacularly, made to explode.”
This might seem far-fetched, but the threat of Chinese spyware is real. So real, the United States has banned Chinese made cars.
And it’s not just cars that are at risk.
Labor’s Net Zero agenda, as ADVANCE has well canvassed, relies on the mass-importation of Chinese made solar panels and wind turbines.
Some of these very items have been shipped to the United States and found to have security vulnerabilities that mean they could be disabled remotely. Indeed, The Australian’s report notes that there have already been reported incidents of solar inverters in the USA being disabled from China.
At the moment, we have a Labor government that is completely unserious about the threat posed to our way of life by the Chinese Communist Party. They are either ignorant of the threat, or simply don’t care about it because it suits their domestic political interests.
It deserves to be called out, something ADVANCE has been doing for years.
We copped it in 2022 when we said a vote for Labor is a vote for the CCP.
Well, the proof is in the pudding.
China is more brazen and more threatening than ever and all the Labor premiers and prime ministers in the world kissing the ring isn’t making a difference.
The risk to our national security is real, and it’s time Labor woke up.
